- Human perception basically works along the same lines as painting by numbers. We link our experiences to the unconscious to produce a narrative whole made up of images and stories.
- In other words: people process their world and their memories into meaningful stories. This means that stories are the most effective and hence oldest form of conveying information.
- That's why september is thinking in stories: From a consumer point of view, products, brands and media all tell their own story. What interests september is which stories actually reach the consumer and how relevant they are. How are messages from various channels pieced together to produce a story? And how can consumers themselves become part of such a story?
- september's presentations tell stories as well, especially in the combination of qualitative and quantitative research learnings. Telling one, and only one, story is crucial in this regard.
